How neat. I don't know any other 12 year olds who loves to count. My 2 year old learned to count by playing hid and seek with daddy. She loves to count. Thank you for your insightful post. It has given me some creative ideas. I hope my kids will still love to count at age 12 and up.
Hi Kristie!
I read this post and had to smile. My dad taught high school math in public school for over 30 years. My sisters and I still talk about how he used to count the veggies on our plates and make games with them to get us to eat them. To this day he counts every possible object in every possible plate. And guess what I naturally do now that I put veggies or fruit on my children's plates? I COUNT them first! Blessings to you from Chicago!
